Tax Resolution Associate (Enrolled Agent)
Compensation: $75,000-$150,000/yr
20/20 Tax Resolution, a nationally recognized industry leader with an A+ rating from the BBB, is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Tax Resolution Associate to join our growing team. Since 1998, we have specialized in resolving personal and corporate tax problems, delivering exceptional service and providing tax relief and resolution results to our clients. In this role, you will be crucial in representing clients with professionalism and integrity, ensuring their tax issues are efficiently resolved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Representation: Represent clients with the highest standards of professionalism and ethics before the IRS and state taxing authorities.
- Communication: Build and maintain clear, respectful communication channels with clients and taxing authorities, ensuring transparent and effective interactions.
- File Review: Regularly review the status and progress of client files to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
- Proposal Preparation: Compile and analyze client information to develop proposals acceptable to taxing authorities.
- Document Management: Maintain organized electronic client files, documents, and notes in the client database.
- Correspondence Management: Oversee correspondence with IRS and state tax authorities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Tax Resolution: Prepare tax payment plans, provide guidance with IRS tax audits, and review financial documents to offer the best resolutions in tax relief for clients.
- Tax Liens and Levies: Remove IRS tax levies, federal tax liens, and wage garnishments through effective negotiation and problem-solving.
- Client Book Management: Manage and grow an assigned book of clients, providing consistent support and service.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred).
- Licensing: Must possess an Enrolled Agent (EA) license in good standing with the IRS or be willing to become licensed.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in tax resolution or related fields (preferred); experience in law is a plus.
